Brush & Hammer is the continuation of Saunders & Sons Construction,  a multi-generational construction company started by my Grandfather, Blaine Saunders in 1978, and continued by my Dad, Mike Saunders. I started working with my Dad and Uncle at a young age and loved the opportunity to learn everything they knew about skilled labor. We were a small business in a small town with small-town values, and we trusted in our values to keep the business profitable. I learned the skills of the trade, but more importantly, I learned that how we treated other people not only makes for good business, it makes for a good life. I love what I do.
